HARLEM WEEK, INC. supports the
Musicians of New Orleans

The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, a Not-for Profit organization, has serviced New York's Upper Manhattan area since 1886. Over 30 years ago, during a time of economic and emotional despair in Harlem, our Chamber created the HARLEM WEEK festival to celebrate the enduring glory of our community and to help revitalize it. HARLEM WEEK was, and remains, the catalyst of Harlem’s second renaissance.

Today, the city of New Orleans is suffering much like Harlem did decades ago.  Years before the recent Hurricanes devastated New Orleans and its surrounding areas, the TIPITINA’S FOUNDATION in New Orleans had dedicated itself to helping artists and preserving the music and cultural traditions of New Orleans.

The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and HARLEM WEEK have joined with the TIPITINA’S FOUNDATION to do all it can for New Orleans which has culturally enriched Harlem, America and the world…but we truly need your help in this endeavor. Whether you donate thousands of dollars, or a handful of pennies, any help you give is meaningful and appreciated.
